Our fantastic and important dates

Our ET was done on November 28th. 2011 and we were officially once again back in the famous 2WW. The time passed by really fast this time, we both tried to keep ourselves occupied and life with our lovely Nora Wilhelmine makes sure that´s no problem.  :-D

On December 12th, our first beta test was done, but we did not get the results before the next day. That was a very long 24 hours. 

It came back POSITIVE and the magical numbers were: 323.61mlU/ml and the doc´s said that it was a good number for pregnancy. 

The next test result came back to days later and the message from the doc´s message was clear: We are happy that your beta dt 14-Dec has raised to 664.18mlU/ml is an indication for your strong pregnancy.

Hurray! 

The next was: Your beta level dt 16-Dec has increased to 1267.0mlU/ml. 

The first scan was due on December 22nd., we were really excited and could´t wait to find out if it was one our two persons in S´s stomach. 

The report came and... S's scan was done on 22-Dec and we are happy to inform you that the scan indicates a single baby sac of approx 5.4wks. 

We were so happy! Now the biggest milestone was passed and the next one was waiting, the heartbeats. That was were it went wrong the previous time and i was so scared that it would happen again. 

The news we got on January 4th. was fantastic to receive: We are very happy to inform you that S's scan done on 30-Dec reveals a single baby sac of approx 6.3wks. Cardiac activity is very well appreciated. The liquor is adequate, cervix is adequate and the os is closed. 

I was so relived! S is our superwoman, we are all obviously a great match. 

The same day we got some other news: S is with us at SI and doing well. She is on anti-hypertensive medicine Tab Alphadopa (250mg) three times a day. With the tablet her blood pressure is very much under control and it is now 120/80mmHg. 

That was not the best news to receive :-( But the doctor promised me that it is absolutely no problem to carry a pregnancy with these tablets. So we hope that is true and hope for the best. It is obviously better for the fetus that the carrier has a low blood pressure with tablets than a high one. S was also put on a restricted salt diet.

Now she is doing fine and is home with her family. 

The next scan was scheduled to be on January 19th. And the report came back with a few pictures and: The scan reveals a single baby which corresponds to the weeks of gestation. The rest of the scan findings are very well within the normal range.

This is where we are at the moment, since we have chosen to wait to tell before we get to the second trimester I found it necessary to make this little document with the most important dates. 

Now I am trying to figure out when the next scan dates are due.
